Submission of the Core Strategy and the Proposals Map The Submission Core Strategy (formed by the Publication Core Strategy and Schedule of changes) sets out the District Council's spatial policy framework for delivering the development and change needed to realise the District Council's vision for the District up to 2026. The Submission DPD follows the Publication Core Strategy, on which representations were sought, and along with the Submission Proposals Map was formally submitted to the Secretary of State on the 28th July 2010 for Examination. The purpose of the Examination, which will be led by an independent Planning Inspector, is to assess whether the document complies with legislation and whether it is a 'sound' plan, under the terms of planning guidance.
